Marbella – Mirador de Juanar: there & back 4 – 5 hours approx.

The starting point of this route is situated in between the Road to Ojén and La Cañada shopping centre. The walk starts just next to the stream which passes by the restaurant La Kaskada. This route is up-hill all the time until arriving at the Mirador de Juanar (viewpoint), and you will see beautiful landscapes along the way. The roundtrip will take between 4 to 5 hours, depending on the number of stops you make and the time you spend at the Mirador de Juanar. During the ascend you will see a beautiful landscape of the mountains, whilst during the descend you will see the coastline, the sea and Marbella.

Either way (up or down hill) you will encounter the restaurant La Kascada where, if warm enough, you will be able to stop and enjoy a cold beer sitting in their lovely terrace with the background music of the waterfall. If on the contrary, you do the hike when it is cold, you can also stop and have food inside the cosy dining room of the restaurant. The restaurant takes its name from the cascada (waterfall) and has been recently inaugurated. La Kaskada has an excellent German cook.
